After a year of lukewarm romance with my boyfriend I decided I needed to spice up my love life and look for a fling. I didn't want to abandon my boyfriend altogether since the idea of going cold turkey worried me a bit and at my age of 33 I really didn't think I could easily jump back into the dating scene and have Sex and the City-like romances to brag about so I figured a few flings would suffice.
My boyfriend was good, but not good enough. I didn't want to invest in a fling so joining paid online dating sites was out of the question. Then one night while I was surfing the net it hit me- look for him on Craigslist!
At first all those horrific sex for sale and murder cases from the infamous CL popped into my head. I sat there for almost 45 minutes before I began to create my profile. In less than an hour I cropped a few of my pics and in two paragraphs described my desire to spice up my love life with NSA (no strings attached). The next morning I was having regrets. I felt bad for my boyfriend and perhaps an ounce of guilt and fear but the idea that in a scale of 1 to 10 my love life barely made it past -3 I knew that if anything, I would either walk out with a great fling or the need to reconnect with my boyfriend cause the grass was not so greener out there.

This week the media was hooked on the story of Colette Dipiero, a 28-year old Staten Island who refused to return a $17,500 engagement ring after calling off the engagement.
"I didn't do anything wrong." said Dipiero in an interview explaining that the engagement ring was given to her on her birthday and she considers the engagement ring a "gift". So can she really keep the engagement ring? This question sure gets everyone fired up and while many agree that whoever calls off the engagement should return the ring or if the guy cheats then you can definitely keep the ring, the courts see it differently. Many courts see an engagement ring as a conditional gift that is given in contemplation of marriage- in other words, no marriage no keep the ring girlfriend!
